KNYSNA NEWS - The Knysna Initiative for Learning and Teaching (Kilt) is gearing up for its annual Family Fun Day, on Saturday 12 October, an event that has become a cherished tradition in Knysna, bringing together people from every corner of our beautiful town.
This event, supported by Lew Geffen Sotheby's Knysna, emphasises the importance of unity and connection within our community.
With a vision for community spirit, inclusivity and shared purpose, the day is more than just an event - it's a movement towards a more united Knysna.
Soccer tournament
Kicking off at 09:00 at the Knysna High School sports fields, the day is designed to provide accessible fun and entertainment for everyone, from young children to grandparents.
The event will feature a dynamic seven-a-side soccer tournament that has become a highlight for many local school and business teams, showcasing our spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie.
Whether you're a soccer enthusiast or just looking for a fun day out, there's something for everyone.
Food stalls, music
Visitors can explore a variety of food stalls and there will be live music by our very own Shazza and Queen Justice. The little ones can look forward to plenty of activities, from jumping castles, face-painting and arts and crafts to interactive games.
By attending and participating in the day, you are not only supporting Kilt's efforts to enhance education in Knysna but also committing to the idea of a more inclusive and connected community.
Shared goal
Whether you're a long-time resident or new to the area, Kilt's Family Fun Day offers a perfect opportunity to connect with family and friends and make this year's day a memorable one.
