George Airport is operational

Only essential travel and travel for business is permitted on domestic flights during lockdown.

George Airport is operational
Passengers must please contact the airlines for their schedules.

GEORGE NEWS - The George Airport is operational again. Senzeni Ndebele of Acsa (Airports Company South Africa) says the airport is operational Mondays to Fridays from 08:00 to 17:30, Saturdays from 08:30 to 13:00 and Sundays from 11:00 to 16:30. 

“So far we received flights from CemAir on Friday 24 and Sunday 26 July. FlySafair had a flight on Monday. All car rental agencies are open."

She added: "Wimpy is operational only during the time that a flight is due, because only passengers are allowed in the airport building.” 

She said passengers must please contact the airlines for their schedules.
