GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - The SA Women Fight Back (SAWFB) initiative gathered in various locations around the Garden Route on Saturday 31 August for one hour of silence for female victims of crime and violence.

"We would like to thank all of the Garden Route ladies who joined us in synergy on the profound day of our first event on Saturday 31 August when we gathered for one hour of silence for all our fallen angels in South Africa.

We would also like to thank Knysna-Plett Herald for affording us the opportunity for exposure and to be part of an initiative that is going to have a profoundly positive impact on the women of South Africa’s outlook in the wake of the heinous crimes being committed in our country.

To all the people in the Garden Route who offered their venues for our special gatherings on Saturday, thank you!"

SAWFB is a nonracial, nonreligious, nonviolent and nonpolitical initiative for all women in South Africa.

"Our initiative is vast, there is an enormous amount of work being done in preparation for the rollout of our actions."
