GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - If you need to top up your fuel this week, today would be the best time to do so; petrol and diesel prices are expected to rise at midnight tonight.
Rising oil prices drove the latest increases, which the rand’s appreciation against the dollar was not enough to offset, according to BusinessLive.
The price of 95 octane petrol will rise by 26 cents per litre, while the wholesale price of diesel is set to increase by 41 cents for low-sulphur 50ppm and 42 cents for 500ppm.
This means that the coastal price of 95-octane petrol will rise to R16,67 per litre, while the wholesale price of 500ppm diesel will increase to R14,47 per litre at the coast and the wholesale price of 50ppm diesel will increase to R14,52 per litre.
