KNYSNA NEWS - The N2 into Knysna has been closed after a fallen tree blocked the roadway near the White Bridge and Belvidere turnoff, disrupting traffic in and out of the town on Wednesday 6 May.
Motorists travelling from the Eastern Cape towards Cape Town have been warned of delays, while those heading from George towards Knysna are urged to allow extra travel time or consider alternative routes via the Langkloof.
Emergency services are currently on the scene working to clear the obstruction and restore traffic flow. Authorities have not yet confirmed when the road will be fully reopened.
In addition to the N2 closure, further disruptions have been reported on the Brenton/Belvidere Road and Waterfront Drive, where fallen trees are also blocking vehicular traffic.
Motorists are advised to proceed with caution and stay updated as clean-up operations continue.
