TOWN AREA
THEFT OUT M.V. - VOORTREKKER ST (Thurs 4 October @ 03h05) – Allsound Camera Operator dispatched vehicle after spotting 2 suspicious persons on community cameras. Stolen goods were recovered and later linked to owner in Voortrekker street. (Visit Facebook page for more info.)
SHOPLIFTING - LONG ST (Fri 5 October @ 12h55) - Client telephoned to request assistance to shoplifting. SAPS were notified and a case was opened.
SHOPLIFTING - MAIN ST (Fri 5 October @ 16h40) – Allsound guards apprehended a suspect for shoplifting clothing. A case was opened and suspect (on parole) was handed over to SAPS.
THEFT - LONG ST (Sat 6 October @ 14h49) - Client requested assistance after a guest reported that cash was missing from their room. Searches were conducted but nothing was found. Matter was further dealt with internally.
THEFT - GRAY ST (Sat 6 October @ 23h21) - Client phoned to report that someone tried to open their door. The suspect then stole a set of keys and fled. Area was searched, suspect not found.
THEFT - GRAY ST (Sun 7 October @ 15h45) - Guest reported to SAPS that his wallet had been stolen. Guest could not remember where he lost it. SAPS were notified and a case was opened.
SHOPLIFTING - WATERFRONT DR (Wed 10 October @ 09h09) - Client reported witnessing a shoplifting and suspect fleeing in a vehicle. Allsound Officers and SAPS were alerted with the vehicle and suspect information. The suspect was apprehended a short while later. Stolen goods were not recovered. A case was opened and suspect was charged.
OLD PLACE / COSTA SARDA
BURGLARY - BOKMAKIERIE ST (Fri 5 October @ 09h25) - Client reported seeing a suspicious person running from neighbouring property and jumping into a vehicle. Allsound Officers were provided with the details of the vehicle. The vehicle was intercepted in town and occupants were arrested for possession of stolen goods. A case was opened.
BURGLARY - OLD TOLL RD (Sat 6 October @ 20h29) - Client activated the panic after suspect broke into outside entertainment area. A speaker and Tablet were stolen. Area was searched, suspect/s not found. Case was opened with SAPS.
INDUSTRIAL AREA / HORNLEE / NEKKIES
BURGLARY - MFELENI ST (Sun 7 October @ 03h48) - Officer responded to alarm signal and found fence cut and window forced open. Keyholder was notified and reported nothing visibly missing. Case was later opened.
HUNTERS HOME / REXFORD / FISHER HAVEN
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY - BARACUDA ST (Sun 7 October @ 23h42) - Alarm and panic signals were received. Client reported that someone pulled open a window at the back of the property and fled when he disturbed. No entry was gained and nothing was reported missing.
