Wyndham Ewerts, editor of the Knysna-Plett Herald, achieved a double feat at the annual Eden Sport Awards on Friday night, winning both the Journalist and Photographer of the Year categories.
The event took place at Eagles' Nest Ministries in Pacaltsdorp, attended by prominent figures from the sports community.
Ewerts expressed his honor in receiving these awards, having previously won the journalist category in 2019 and last year.
The Eden Sport Council highlighted the competitive nature of the event, with over 180 nominations across various categories, and chairman Desmond Speelman praised all nominees while reaffirming the council's dedication to celebrating local sports talent.
