KNYSNA NEWS - Residents of the Epilepsy SA Southern Cape / Karoo branch enjoyed a day of fun festivities on Friday 31 July as they celebrated Tekkie Tax Day.
The day is held every year as a means to raise funds for the organisation, and donations are made in the form of purchasing Tekkie Tax Day merchandise.
Epilepsy residents take part in the annual celebration, and don't try to avoid donating to the organisation that cares for them, as they too pay their own "tekkie tax" by purchasing stickers, buttons or shoelaces.
This year the Southern Cape / Karoo branch gave its residents the chance to design their own costumes for the day, and Thursday 30 July was spent putting these outfits together with whatever was available to them.

Residents were able to come up with some fantastic outfits, and on the day itself had lots of fun as they took part in a fashion show that saw staff take part too.
They also enjoyed hours of music, dancing, and non-stop Tekkie Tax fun throughout the day.
