Update
WILDERNESS NEWS - Following the flooding incident at the Wilderness Ebb and Flow Rest Camp of the Garden Route National Park, South African National Parks (SANParks) says they have opened the camp again, after having to close it this week because of the flooding.
Accommodation facilities have not been affected by the floods and accommodation and camping is available for bookings on www.sanparks.org.
Tsitsikamma and Knysna Sections of the Garden Route National Park remain open to the public.
The following hiking trails remain closed:
- Half Collared Kingfisher trail
- Gallinule bird hide
- Brown Hooded Kingfisher trail
- Waterside boardwalk
- Woodville Big Tree
- Outeniqua Hiking trail
- Canoe activity
