KNYSNA NEWS - The e'Pap Children's Feeding Project is steaming ahead after its founding in 2003 by Shelley Godsell and Lally Viljoen.
Twenty-one years later, the project has expanded to provide food to over 140 pre-schools in Knysna, Plett and George.
Currently enthusiastic volunteers handle distribution to the schools while school staff feed the children.
More than 6000 children regularly receive vitamin-packed breakfast at the pre-schools.
Godsell said the pre-cooked porridge is funded by generous donors.
"Our latest donor is Sasha Events. This partnership of donors, volunteers and pre-school staff has, to date, provided over twelve million meals to the children of the Garden Route," Godsell said.
