REGIONAL NEWS - CX matrics have done it again! The class of 2023 has once again not only exceeded the provincial pass rate, but also the national results.
The seven government high schools in Plettenberg Bay and Knysna managed an 84,36% pass rate compared to the Western Cape’s 81,54% and national results of 82,9%.
Wittedrift High School in Plettenberg Bay was the only school in the two towns which managed to obtain a 100% pass rate this year up from 96,8% last year.
Murray High School in Plett also saw a great improvement. Last year the school obtained a pass rate of 79.6% and this year secured 89.7%.
The biggest improvement came from Concordia High School in Knysna. The school is up from 69.2% last year to 80.5% this year.
