PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Oakhill Prep students recently took part in the annual George Eisteddfod over a span of two weeks, culminating in the gala event on Thursday 31 August.

This is the eighth year that Oakhill Prep has taken part, entering a total of 49 items, and achieving the following fantastic results: 20 A++, 10 A+, 14 A, 1 B+ and 2 B.

Victoria Still, A Grade 4 learner at Oakhill, clinched the top award of the Eisteddfod – the Junior Cup. Victoria follows in the footsteps of Emma Gibson, who won the Junior Cup for three years in a row before moving to England.

Oakhill Prep head of art department Beatrix Hardick says, "With another three years of Eisteddfods ahead of her, we can look forward to some exciting performances from this very talented young lady!"
