KNYSNA NEWSFLASH - Shoplifting and robberies are the order of the day when it comes to just some of the crimes committed in Knysna this past week.
In a report supplied by Allsound Security of crime the previous week, it was clear this week, 12 March, that shoplifting and robberies are happening all over Knysna.

Allsound supply a detailed report of the crime they encounter when helping their clients – up until the point the police are notified or cases opened at the police station.
These five examples are in the town area last week, but read the column weekly to see that no area in Knysna is spared incidents of some sort of another.
“THEFT - MAIN STR (Thurs 1 March @ 13:53) - Client requested assistance after her cellphone was stolen from her business premises. Cellphone location was tracked and Allsound Officers apprehended the suspect. Cellphone was recovered. Case was opened and suspect charged with theft.
SHOPLIFTING - MAIN STR (Fri 2 March @ 13:55) - Allsound guards reported that a suspect was caught for shoplifting. SAPS were notified and suspect was handed over.
SHOPLIFTING - LONG STR (Fri 2 March @ 09:20) - Store Manager stopped our response vehicle to report that suspects shoplifted and fled in a white Toyota Avanza. One suspect was apprehended. SAPS were notified and description of vehicle was broadcast.
THEFT - FICHAT STR (Sat 3 March @ 17:45) - Client phoned in to report a break-in at outside store. Some paint and tools were reported missing. Suspected that incident happened during the night.
COMMON ROBBERY - GRAY STR (Sun 4 March @ 21:32) - Client reported that a carguard robbed one of their waitresses. Suspect was apprehended and taken to the police station where the victim opened a case.
