KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna Municipality’s Community Service and Licensing centres are still closed for the time being, due to Covid-19 related matters according to the municipality.

In a statement issued yesterday, municipal communications stated that its licensing centre would open today (21 July). 

However, this was later retracted by the municipality as it stated that the licensing offices would remain closed until further notice as it had received news of new positive cases from within the department, and that it will announce a new opening date for the offices at a later stage.

This announcement was followed by yet another, which stated that the Community Services Centre would also be closed until further notice after they too had to close due to ‘Covid-19 related measures’. 

The municipality also clarified that accounts can be paid alternatively, too. Residents can pay their municipal accounts at Spar, Pick n Pay, EFT and EasyPay points nationwide.
