SEDGEFIELD NEWS - The Smutsville Community Hall sparkled with style last weekend as Sedgefield hosted a modelling show to raise funds for Sergio Solomons, a Knysna High School learner who was selected for the Travel and Sport Invitational U15 rugby team that tours to England and Wales from 2 to 13 December.
Vernie Solomons, Sergio's father, praised the community's efforts, saying,
"The models put on quite a show, and I'm so grateful for everyone's planning and contributions."
He also expressed pride in his son's achievement, crediting coach Dorian Johnson for spotting Sergio's talent early on.
