Community unites for missing Candice Sass - Day 5 update

KNYSNA NEWS - The search for missing Candice Sass continued today, Saturday 16 August marking day five since her disappearance.

The search commenced at 09:00 this morning at the Hornlee Community Hall, with the involvement of SAPS, Urban Search and Rescue, SANParks, the Knysna Fire Department, Councillors Kay Andrews, Russell Arends, and Jason White, Georlene Wolmarans (Speaker of the Garden Route District Municipality), Law Enforcement, EMS Metro, the K9 Unit from George, Allsound Security, as well as family members, friends and former colleagues of Candice.

According to preliminary reports, Sass was last seen leaving her home on the morning of Monday 11 August, and has not returned since.

At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing black tracksuit pants and takkies.

Anyone with information on Sass' whereabouts is asked to contact the investigation officer, Warrant Officer James Visagie, at the Knysna Detectives, on 044 302 6652 or 073 244 6154. Alternatively, information could be shared via Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or the MySAPS app.
