KNYSNA NEWS, GALLERY AND VIDEO - Woodmill Lane shopping centre turns into a Christmas fairyland once a year when the community comes out in force to listen to carols, but also to support Knysna Sedgefield Hospice.
On 19 December, the centre was packed with local folk and visitors thoroughly enjoying this occasion.

Restaurants in the centre like The Daily and Café Knysna were packed while others brought a chair and their own cheer.
Each person was asked to bring a wrapped gift for a child in need, marked with the age, boy or girl, and so it was an evening of giving. Hospice will now distribute these gifts.
Children of all ages had their special moment when Santa appeared. They all had a chance then to sit on his lap for a photo and a sweet.
A minute's silence was held and the crowd stood to remember those who had passed away.
