SEDGEFIELD NEWS - The body of a 71-year-old woman was discovered near Uil Street in Sedgefield on Friday last week and the police have opened an inquest docket.
According to police, the woman was reported missing last month and an extensive search was undertaken to no avail – until recently.
She has been identified by a relative as Mavis Mazantsi. Knysna police spokesperson Sergeant Chris Spies said, "A postmoterm to determine the cause of death will be concluded later. Thank you to everyone who assisted with the search."
