KNYSNA NEWS - Visitors to the Knysna Mall during the past week would have noticed the Art For Humanity exhibition in the Dischem Atrium.
This special exhibit was a collaborative effort between Knysna Initiative for Learning and Teaching (Kilt) and the Knysna Mall to showcase the budding artistic talents of learners from local schools.
The theme of the exhibition was "human rights" and learners were given free artistic rein to create works that interpreted what this theme means to them.
Ten different schools in the area contributed to the show and a silent auction was held to raise funds for Kilt.
Prizes will be awarded to the artwork that raised the most in the auction. The names of the winners will be published in next week's Knysna-Plett Herald.
An artwork created by Knysna Primary School learners.
