KNYSNA NEWS AND GALLERY - After a successful first running in April, the Last Fridays initiative pioneered by The Showroom will be returning to Knysna Industrial this week with lots to do and see.
Last Fridays encompass more than 10 businesses in the industrial area, all within a 350m radius of one another, welcoming customers for the monthly initiative.
Spearheaded by The Showroom, the idea is that venues open up on the last Friday of each month to give people a chance to explore the exciting studios, artisan spaces and food/drink venues in the industrial area.

This week there will be live music and craft beer at Red Bridge Brewing Co. and chilled DJ sounds at The Club.
"Maillard Baking Co. in Uil Street is back from a break and will be serving up their pizzas to be washed down with a cocktail from Knysna Gin," said Nicki Friedlin of The Showroom.
Iconic Cars will also be showing off classic and sporty wheels in their beautiful showroom on Uil Street.
"At The Showroom in Meeu Street we have a group show of sculpture, paintings, collage and mixed media pieces by 15 local artists in The Doos Gallery called Koast & Caroo, Friedlin said.

"Our exhibition opens at 15:00 this Friday - there'll be some wine and popcorn for guests, then we suggest a stroll down the road to taste some honey liqueur at Eden Honey. It's perfect for a winter tipple!"
There's also the chance to do some shop-ping for local crafts and curios at Pure Salvage, Zawadi and Bark & Mill. "All in all, it's definitely worth a drive-by… and all venues have indoor space, so no need to worry about rain," said Friedlin.
