KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna-Plett Herald has received footage of a second crash at the Simola Hillclimb yesterday afternoon, 4 May, involving driver Shiraz Bawa.
Bawa lost control of his BMW but fortunately emerged largely unscathed, sustaining only a minor arm injury. Emergency services responded swiftly to the scene.
This incident came just hours after a tragic accident earlier that morning, reportedly due to a suspected mechanical failure, in which veteran driver Pieter Joubert was fatally injured.
