SEDGEFIELD NEWS - Studio 42 in Sedgefield will soon welcome the one and only David Muller who is perhaps better known as The Merry Scholar for two special shows later this month.
The Merry Scholar is travelling with the stories of Herman Charles Bosman this Valentine's month, and on Wednesday 22 and Sunday 26 February he's stopping in Sedgefield at the slow Town's own little theatre, Studio 42.
Oom Schalk, as he is also known, will transport you to the towns of the Groot Marico with the love stories from the days when nobody needed any electricity, and suspend all your cares for an hour or so with his unique and entertaining storytelling skill.
Although Oom Schalk thinks in Afrikaans, he only speaks in English, as the school master insisted.
