SEDGEFIELD NEWS - The Living Cornerstone in Sedgefield recently hosted its much-anticipated annual Christmas Lunch, bringing together residents, their families, staff, and special guests for a joyful celebration of the festive season.
The event marked by warmth, gratitude, and a strong sense of community took place at the estalishment.
On arrival, guests were welcomed with a refreshing welcome drink before being shown to their seats at tables beautifully decorated to reflect the joy and togetherness of Christmas shared as a family.
Musical entertainment added to the festive atmosphere, with the group Sing4 delighting guests with their uplifting performance.
A special highlight of the afternoon was when Jean-Marie, who leads the kitchen at The Living Cornerstone, joined the group in song, drawing smiles and applause from residents and guests alike.
The proceedings were officially opened by Facility Manager, Marietjie Digue, who warmly welcomed everyone in attendance.
She thanked the families for making the effort to be part of this special occasion, emphasising the importance of shared moments and continued connection between residents and their loved ones.
Digue also expressed her sincere appreciation to the staff of The Living Cornerstone for their dedication and extra commitment in ensuring the event was a resounding success.
Special words of gratitude were extended to Sing4 for their musical contribution and to Eden Stretch Tents for their support on the day.
