KNYSNA NEWS - The Western Cape department of cultural affairs and sport, in collaboration with the Knysna municipality, will host a showcase this year to celebrate the women of Knysna on Women’s Day.
The event will take place on Wednesday, August 9, a public holiday, at Knysna Primary School, and will kick off at 12:00.
Entry fee is free, and the show ends at 16:00.
The main event will be showcasing the production Tip-ex, which was voted Best of Zabalaza Theatre Festival in 2016.
Also bringing their talents to Knysna on the day will be the Jazzart dancers, Black Pearl, Lana Crowster and her female band, female storytellers and artists from Knysna and the rest of SA, and the special guest Jill Levenberg who plays Moena in the kykNET soapie Suidooster.
Donations will be accepted during the event and will go to Knysna fire victims.
