SEDGEFIELD NEWSFLASH - The Knysna detective branch is investigating a case of house robbery following an incident at a house at Groenvallei, Sedgefield on Tuesday, 5 December at about 14:20.
It is alleged that the 89-year-old victim was inside her house when she heard a noise.
“She went to investigate, when an unknown woman grabbed her from behind.
“A struggle ensued and the suspect assaulted the victim.
"She took an undisclosed amount of cash before she fled from the scene,” said police spokesman Sergeant Chris Spies.
No arrest has been made yet and Investigation into this matter continues.
