Presented by Mercedes Benz Stanmar Motors, the wine festival also offered a selection of the Cape’s classics, as well as a few elusive regional wines. Some of the regional wines on offer included Jakkalsvlei Private Cellar, Fernskloof Wines and Hillock Cellars, while estates from further afield were represented by, amongst others, Beau Belle. Malanot, Solms Delta and Zorgvliet.
Visitors to the Knysna Wine Festival also enjoyed browsing the adjacent night market, where a smorgasbord of gourmet food and craft stalls offered a unique shopping experience of food, clothing and jewellery, all accompanied by live entertainment with seating where friends and family spent the evening eating, drinking, shopping – and generally having a blast.
