KNYSNA NEWS - The Vermont Old Age Home AGM was held on 18 May at the Hornlee Community Hall to elect a new interim board to serve the residents of the old age home.
The newly appointed board is made up of chairman Mark Laminie, deputy hairman Jack Simons, secretary Lindsay Coetzee, deputy secretary Cleo Paulse, treasurer Ilse Roman and deputy treasurer Maruwayne Spies.
Additional members include Neagle van Rooyen, Edna Oktober, John Blaauw, Waydon Botha, Neville Norkee, Charlene Windvogel and Mark Stevens.
The Department of Social Development has been made aware of the efforts of the current interim board and continues to acknowledge the interim board which was established in July 2022.
The department has been engaging and communicating with the interim board since its inception.
