KNYSNA NEWS FLASH - The most recent Allsound Security report from December to 3 January warns theft out of motor vehicles is on the increase.
Some example are theft out of a motor vehicle in Queen Street on 28 December at 7:40. An Allsound officer noticed a vehicle had been broken into. Owner of the property was notified and was to open a case.
On 2 January a theft from motor vehicle was reported in Hill Street. An officer responded to panic signal. Three suspects had broken into a vehicle at guesthouse. A wallet was reported missing. This happened at 4:43.
There were thefts from vehicles reported in Lindsay Street and in Rheenendal recently.
In the meantime the community and visitors are urged not to leave valuables in their car where they can be seen.
