PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - The cooperation between Plettenberg Bay authorities and the quick action by a Plettenberg Bay armed response officer led to the recovery of a stolen television and the arrest of to two suspects.
According to Fidelity ADT Garden Route manager, Pieter Meiring, one of their officers, Elton Loggerengberg received reports from the Plettenberg Bay Crime Prevention Association about a suspect allegedly connected to thefts in the coastal holiday town.
“He went to investigate and quickly located a suspect who matched the description provided,” Meiring said.
The questioning of the suspect and an unidentified person with him, led Loggerenberg to a stolen television hidden nearby. Both suspects were handed over to police and the television returned to its owner.
