Update

MOSSEL BAY NEWS - There is good news for those who wish to comment on the proposal for exploratory drilling offshore of Mossel Bay, as part of the Brulpadda project.

The deadline to review and comment on the Draft Scoping Report has been extended by 30 days until 21 August.

SLR Consulting is undertaking the environmental and impact assessment on behalf of Total Exploration and Production, which is leading the project.

All comments on the Draft Scoping Report should be forwarded to SLR Consulting by no later than 21 August 2020 for inclusion in the Final Scoping Report.

In a statement, SLR noted it was "also considering various additional engagement opportunities and will provide more information to interested and affected parties in this regard once the way forward is confirmed".
