Some Plett beaches closed due to shark activity
Lifeguards in Plettenberg Bay are noticing increased shark activity in the area.

PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Lifeguards in Plettenberg Bay are noticing increased shark activity in the area and are warning beachgoers to be vigilant.

Beach authorities have closed Robberg 1 and 5 beaches and are advising those visiting Lookout Beach to not go into the water deeper than knee-deep. Those making use of Central Beach are also advised not to wade in deeper than waist-deep.

Lifeguards are patrolling the back lines and have received several reports of great white sharks in the area.
