KNYSNA NEWS AND VIDEO - A video of an altercation between traffic officials and a man in Main Road is being circulated on Facebook. 

The video was also sent to Knysna-Plett Herald journalist, Nwabisa Pondoyi.

According to the Knysna Municipality, they are aware of the incident.

Herewith their response:

"The municipality is aware of the unfortunate incident between a resident and our traffic officer that was captured on video this morning. In the interest of all parties involved, it will be premature to make any judgement based only on this video. The relevant department is currently conducting a formal investigation. Only after the conclusion of this investigation will the Knysna Municipality be able to comment."
