GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - A group of motorcyclists from the Garden Route organised a mass ride in protest against abuse and sexual crimes, in particular against women and children, which started in Plettenberg Bay on Saturday 14 September.
The event started at about 09:00, with the first set of participants coming from Knysna and Plett, and the rest of the riders joining as the mass ride proceeded through towns all along the Garden Route.
With an escort from traffic police, and overcast skies overhead, the riders made their way to Knysna, arriving at the Lamco Service Station not long after 09:30 where they took a short break before heading on their way again.

Next up was George, where more bikers from various clubs in the area joined the ride before proceeding to Mossel Bay, "collecting" ever more participants as the day drew on for a cause that the whole country seems unified in wanting to eradicate.
