GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - Knysna and Sedgefield, towns at the heart of the Garden Route, recently played host to Getaway magazine for four days. 

Journalist Welcome Lishivha and photographer Gareth van Nelson arrived on Saturday 25 November to explore the area for a six-page feature in the April 2018 issue.

The pair enjoyed a packed itinerary coordinated by Knysna Tourism, which ensured that they experienced some of the many activities on offer in the area.

From a hike down to the rock pools at Drupkelders with Mark Dixon of Garden Route Trail and a Judah Square homestay experience, to an outing with Knysna Segway Tours and a night spent on the lagoon in a houseboat.

With a readership of over 500 000, said Knysna Tourism PR manager Jeannine Orzechowski, Getaway is the perfect vehicle to promote Knysna to South Africans who love travel and adventure.
