KNYSNA NEWS - Twelve 12 students recently completed their preschool teacher's course through Knysna Education Trust, which gives them a full NQF Level 4 preschool teacher qualification and enables them to register with the SA Council of Educators.
The course is very demanding on students, who have to complete two theme files, a practical file, detailed lesson plans and many creative assignments and tasks.
All of which prepare them to become organised preschool teachers who are resourceful, skilled, know how to plan lessons and run a preschool classroom that will enrich learning opportunities for the children in their care.
We have students showing incredible enthusiasm, passion and dedication in their assignments and practical application. Some of these students were very emotional during the graduation, saying that they are the first person in their families to receive a qualification. It was most rewarding to see their beaming faces and their certificates held high.
