UK publication, The Telegraph recently listed its top 25 reasons to visit South Africa and in at number 16 was Plettenberg Bay’s beaches.
Plettenberg Bay Tourism chairman Peter Wallington said he was not surprised as the town’s beaches remained “the primary feature and attraction” around which the town’s tourism was built.
He added that the town had four beaches with Blue Flag status – Nature’s Valley, Keurbooms, Robberg 5 and Lookout – which were important contributors to this attraction.
