PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Plett author Kim Jones last week debuted her first poetry book, Toevlug na Donkerte se Lig, at Village Bookshop on Saturday 10 June.
The event was an intimate affair where readers could meet the author and hear her recite a few poems from the book.
Jones' book is a biographical and honest journey into her spiritual life which was her inspiration to write in the first place. Jones' poems are a personal collective about the truth, her life and her experience and about what happens in her community.
She hopes that this collection of poems will provide inspiration and hope to young people who relate to her experiences.
