PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - A drive to assist fire victims in Plettenberg Bay is currently underway after 42 homes were gutted in Qolweni earlier on Wednesday 16 November, 2022.
Bitou fire fighters and volunteers managed to bring the fire, which broke out during the late afternoon, under control. The cause of the blaze is still unknown.
The affected families however lost everything they own and locals have asked the public to assist with various items.
Among the needs are blankets, pillows and size 30 to 32 men's or women's clothing. They also need children's clothing as well as toiletries.
The drop-off is at the Native Roots shelter in Marine away.
