KNYSNA NEWS AND VIDEO - Residents of Knysna and visitors to the town lined the streets of Main Road in Knysna in their hundreds this past weekend as the Pink Loerie Mardi Gras & Arts Festival Street Parade made its way through the town.

Men, women and everyone in between dressed up, down, with and without sequence and mascara on Saturday 26 May and strutted their stuff to the amazement and amusement of onlookers.

The street parade was just one event of many events held throughout the weekend, which celebrated the LGBTQI community locally and worldwide. The parade culminated in a “street party” of sorts and allowed photo opportunities with the stars of the parade.

The highlight of the weekend was the crowning of Mr Gay World 2018, won this year by Australian Jordan Bruno, on the same evening.
