KNYSNA NEWS - Oakhill was delighted to participate in this year’s first Plettenberg Bay Arts & Culture Eisteddfod, held at the Barnyard Theatre in the Crags, on 14 and 15 August.
At this event, learners were given the opportunity to experience the stage and to expose themselves to a wider audience in a friendly and uplifting environment.
Oakhill learners did exceptionally well, and for the gala event, 10 items were chosen to reflect the quality of work produced.
Anneke Lamont, Laticha van Wageningen, Gill Teggin and Gavin Bezuidenhout were proud to be the team behind the music pupils at Oakhill.
Special congratulations go to Jana van Wageningen for winning the Versatility Trophy – one of the five trophies awarded at the event.
The senior prep band delighted with their contribution.
The Oakhill Prep choir brought their special talents to the eisteddfod.
