PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS – A new board has been formed for Plettenberg Bay Tourism and its chairman is Paul Duverge, whose membership of the Plett Tourism Association was terminated two weeks ago.
After the formation of the new board, Plettenberg Bay Tourism posted on its Facebook Page that, "thanks to committee member Vuyakazi Kitsi", Plettenberg Bay Tourism became aware that township tourism was a neglected sector.
"Our aim is to do something about it," Plettenberg Bay Tourism posted. "Therefore we have earmarked a day to explore Kwanokuthula's hip, happening, vibrant and truly ethnic attractions."
The new board of Plettenberg Bay Tourism :
- Paul Duverge: chairperson and accommodation/finance
- Lynne Clarke: deputy chairperson and township tourism
- Jeanine Kruger: restaurants
- Lynne Kapp: restaurants/social media/marketing
- Marlene Bartlett: social media/content creation
- Leonie Baynes: legal and compliance
- Vuyokazi Kitsi: township development/tourism
- Peter Reid: events/business development
- Wesley Andrews: security sector.
