MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A truck has crashed into a heap of sand on the N2 between Great Brak River and Little Brak River following heavy rainfall this evening.
Spokesperson from the Garden Route District Municipality Herman Pieters says a lot of sand and sediment were deposited on the N2. Pieters says emergency personnel are on the scene.
Meanwhile provincial traffic officials have also closed the N2 leading to Mossel Bay.
"Residents are cautioned to please stay at home and avoid roads." Pieters says Meiringspoort has been closed because floods from Central Karoo are heading towards the area.
