KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna Municipality's environmental management department paid learners at two local primary schools a visit on Monday 18 October to show them how to go about greening the environment.
The department taught learners of Chris Nissen and Concordia primary schools how to plant trees in planter pots. The initiative is part of the department's environmental education programme.
"A huge thank you to the Garden Route Botanical Garden's indigenous nursery for donating trees and compost, as well as to the enthusiastic learners," the municipality said in a social media statement.
