KNYSNA NEWS - On Thursday 28 February, Knysna High School held its annual Mr and Miss KHS pageant. The theme for the prestige evening was "Leaving on a jet plane".
The 20 finalists outdid themselves wearing a sport of their choice, representing a country, pretending they visited on the jet plane, and of course, evening wear. They looked absolutely spectacular and judges had a challenging time to select the winners.
"It was a beautiful evening organised by very talented teachers Mrs Tania Lombard and Brittney Booysen. This was an evening that will be remembered for a very long time," the school said in a statement.
The prize winners were as follows:
- Mr Personalilty – Tarquin Smith
- Miss Personality – Veronique Potts
- Mr Photogenic – Kainé Andrews
- Miss Photogenic – Janté du Plessis
- Second Prince – Kainé Andrews
- Second princess – Inge-Marie Talmaggies
- First Prince – Kyle Groome
- First Princess – Janté du Plessis
- Mr KHS – Michael Pirker
