KNYSNA NEWS - Worry and anguish ceased for three families of missing people in the past week when their loved ones were found.
After the search for Nekkies resident Selvoline Wabani (21), who had been missing since 16 March, was extended to George, she was found in Thembalethu, George on Monday evening, 29 March.
In another incident, Knysna police returned home two teenagers who went missing on Saturday 27 March.
Southern Cape police spokesperson Captain Malcolm Pojie said the two girls, Aqhama Mbali (13) and Michelle Ewerts (14), who are neighbours living at Kanonkop 139 and 140 in Concordia in Knysna, were last seen leaving their homes together between 15:00 and 16:00 on Saturday.
"It is believed that they went together to town or to attend a function at the Chris Hani Hall. Both were dressed in blue skinny jeans, one with a yellow hoody top and the other with a red hoody top," he said. Pojie said the two missing teenagers were found and reunited with their families.
"They returned home unharmed," he said.
