KNYSNA NEWS - On Friday and Saturday, 6 and 7 September, Knysna Sedgefield Hospice will once again be hosting its annual Maison Market, a homeware market founded in the French tradition, offering gently used home and garden treasures at bargain prices. The market will be held at Amble Ridge Village, Sunninghill Road (first right after private hospital).
The Hospice Events Team, who organise the market, attribute its ongoing success to the generosity of the Knysna public.
Shop owners and interior decorators also come forward with donations creating a delightful mix of new and used wares at the market.
Winter offers us the perfect opportunity to spend some time shedding no longer used home and garden treasures (furniture, ornaments, vases, lamps, artwork, frames, soft furnishings, carpets, tableware, crockery, baskets, kitchenware, linen, craft items, garden pots and ornaments, fabrics, jewellery, accessories, classy vintage clothing and more). These can be dropped off at Sotheby’s on Leisure Island or call 0834481934 to have larger loads collected.
