KNYSNA NEWS - Epilepsy SA South Cape/Karoo branch celebrated their 35th annual general meeting (AGM) in Knysna Heights with great enthusiasm and gratitude.
The event showcased the organisation's diverse operations and initiatives through a captivating highlight reel. The organisation is very appreciative of the excellent attendance.
Special recognition was given to the Southern Cape Nomads golfers and the HP Smith Trust for their generous contributions to renovating three flatlets on the organisation's property that now serve as rental units that generate more income.
Branch director Lee-Anne van den Bergh expressed heartfelt appreciation to Mike Smerdon, the outgoing chairperson, for his dedicated service to the organisation. Smerdon's leadership was highly valued by the management board.
Epilepsy SA South Cape/Karoo branch extended their gratitude to all AGM attendees, emphasising their commitment to making a difference and hoping that the meeting provided a better understanding of their work.
The organisation remains focused on improving the lives of individuals affected by epilepsy and emphasises the importance of ongoing support from the community and stakeholders in achieving their mission.
