GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - The wreckage of the aircraft that went missing earlier today, has allegedly been found in the Ruiterbos area near Mossel Bay.
Various sources have confirmed this to Mossel Bay Advertiser journalist, Jannie du Plessis, who is on the scene.
At this stage, bad weather is apparently hampering the retrieval of the aircraft.
The South African Civil Aviation Authority earlier today issued a statement, stating that the aircraft, with 3 people onboard, took off from the George Airport at 10:40 today on a flight calibration mission of navigational aids of the same airport.
