KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna residents have until midnight tonight to make sure they cast their vote for Knysna as the 'Best Dorpie' in the Western Cape, as well as to support two other local businesses that have been nominated in the KFM Best of the Cape Awards.

There is a total of three categories that Knysna is competing in for the title 'Best of the Cape'. The town itself has been nominated for 'Best Dorpie'. 

In addition to this, local gin distillery Knysna Gin is a finalist in the 'Best Local Craft Gin' category and Sedgefield accommodation establishment Myoli Beach Lodge is a finalist in the 'Best Guest House' category.

Voting officially opened on 26 July for the public to choose their winner from a set list of finalists in the competition, which spans a very diverse 30 categories covering just about everything from the best barber to the best amateur sports team, the best place to sweat, the best takeaway spot, and much more.
