KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna came alive with bright colours and holiday joy on Friday, 15 December, as the radiant glow of Christmas lights illuminated the streets, spreading joy and cheer throughout Greater Knysna.
Locals and visitors gathered at Memorial Square on Main Street, for a festive celebration, filling the air with delightful carols, harmonious voices, and the joyful spirit of the holiday season.
Led by the talented Baden Hall and the Knysna Golden Voices choir, the evening was accompanied by the sounds of beloved carols.
The melodic tunes united the community, with crowds singing along and reminding everyone of the true meaning of this special time of year.
A highlight of the evening was when councillor Beauty Charlie accompanied Baden Hall with the singing of some festive melodies.
Deputy Mayor Alberto Marbi delivered an address to the people of Knysna to usher in the season before switching on the Christmas lights.
